Every man is not the same. And yet, at Christmas, you could easily be mistaken in thinking that they all love novelty socks, Lynx Africa and, well, not much else. The possibilities for male present buying in physical shops are pretty appalling. The shelves are all angry looking shower gels that promise to do 50 different things. Add in the fact that it seems to always be the men that say “oh, no, don’t get me anything!” and it’s not hard to see how uncle Stuart ends up with a pack of socks under the tree. Again.
Whilst shopping for men can be a challenge if, ya know, you’re not one, I think the key is to step outside of what you think of as a “man’s present”. As I said in my women’s gift guide, there are plenty if items in there that I know the men in my life would love. And, similarly, there a lots of presents in this one that I would happily wrap up for ladies. However, I’ve tried to find some items in today’s ethical gift guide that are geared towards men, without being overly stereotypical.
Sorry though, I couldn’t say “no” to the novelty pants or “man balm”!
